Tom Greensmith

American, European (EBVS) and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care

Tom graduated from the RVC in 2010 and was soon allowed back in to complete his residency, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2018. Tom remained at the RVC after his residency, taking up the post of cardiothoracic perfusion fellow within the cardiac surgery unit before becoming a lecturer in 2019. Tom’s major clinical interests include all things extracorporeal, and he has an active role in the provision of cardiopulmonary bypass, therapeutic plasma exchange and dialysis.
