The following course will cover Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) SOP.COL.02.07

The purpose of SOP.COL.02.07 is to train you with regards to:

  • Ensuring that the correct samples for pre-donation and reference laboratory testing are collected in a safe manner
  • To begin preparation of the phlebotomy area

Restrictions for this SOP:

  • May only be carried out by a qualified veterinary surgeon of veterinary surgeon or veterinary nurse
  • May only be carried out by staff who have been trained to this SOP
  • Clean PBBUK uniform and name badge should be worn
