The following course will cover Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) SOP.COL.05.09

The purpose of SOP.COL.05.09 is to train you with regards to:

  • Collecting a non-contaminated blood donation in accordance with ethical considerations for donor dogs and their owners

Restrictions for this SOP:

  • May only be carried out unsupervised by PBBUK staff who have been trained in this procedure
  • Blood collection may only be carried out by a veterinary surgeon or registered veterinary nurse
  • Clean Pet Blood Bank uniform should be worn

 

Course Content
