The following course will cover Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) SOP.COL.07.06

The purpose of SOP.COL.07.06 is to train you with regards to:

  • Ensuring donors receive refreshments post blood unit collection
  • Ensuring the donor owner/guardian are given post donation instructions
  • Allowing a final check of the donor before leaving the blood collection venue

Restrictions for this SOP:

  • May only be carried out unsupervised by PBBUK staff who have been trained in this procedure
  • Clean Pet Blood Bank UK uniform with name badge should be worn
