The following course will cover Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) SOP.TES.02.04

The purpose of SOP.TES.02.04 is to explain the process used to establish the DEA1 blood type of the dog units collected.

Restrictions for this SOP:

  • May only be carried out unsupervised by PBB staff who have been trained in this procedure
  • Blood typing must be carried out in the designated clean area
  • No food or drink may be stored or consumed within the designated clean area.
