The following course will cover Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) SOP.TES.03.07

The purpose of SOP.TES.3.07 is to train you with regards to:

  • To permit safe supply of compatible blood products to the patients being treated by customers

Restrictions for this SOP:

  • May only be carried out by unsupervised by PBBUK Staff who have been trained in this procedure
  • Blood aliquot selection must be carried out in a designated clean area
  • Gloves must be worn or clean hands with alcohol applied when handling blood products
  • Personal protective equipment must be worn when handling frozen items
  • No food or drink may be stored or consumed within the designated clean area
